The Band

We are Story of a Stranger, a metalcore band from Graz. We started in 2021 with a simple idea: play heavy music that actually has something to say. Our lyrics are about questioning what is wrong around us and taking responsibility for it ourselves.

Our first show was in January 2025 at Explosiv in Graz, where we co-headlined with Hidden Fates. The place was almost sold out and the energy on stage was unforgettable. Since then we have played Donauinselfest in Vienna and Area 53 in Leoben, we have been to Ostrava, and in November 2025 we won the Local Heroes Styria final.

If you feel the emotions and jump along to our sound, that means the world to us.
